Valle Tranquillo at Rancho Nazdrowie meaning “good health” is owned by a lady “Milet Delme Radcliffe” who designed and built this beautiful garden of Eden. For more information go to www.milet-design.com.
Valle Tranquillo is newly opened to the public all year round. The new proprietors are an English couple “Pete and Sharon” and will be happy to see that your needs are met.
Come and explore the river walks in this most outstanding part of the Dominican countryside. The mountains or flat land have much to offer with many sites to be explored. The ranch is in a perfect location for travelers with a wide and diverse interest such as writers, Artists, backpackers, campers, hill walkers, horse riders and the even the more adventurous like the mountain biker.
Imbert is 6km from the ranch and has many diverse shops. It is a small market town and caters your every need.
Costambar is a short drive away and is well known for its sun, sea, sand, sea food and fishing.
We have professional guides to take you on excursions you like, or you can stay right here at the ranch for peace and tranquility.
Our neighbors are the Brugal Ranch, who hosts the horse back riding which take you through this Un-spoilt beautiful countryside.
For those who wish to test themselves, why not try the challenges of the famous waterfalls with 27 levels of cascading tundra? The water falls are located in Imbert, not far from the ranch.
The Ranch is situated on the edge of a rural village and we often see the children playing happily in the rivers. The people are friendly. There is a local shop to pick items up that we forget at the supermarket and a bar to mix with the locals. The Dominican dance is the Bachata and Merengue they will be happy to teach you.
We also have 2 bars on the Ranch and the staff will be happy to serve you the local Brugal rum a cocktail or a beer. The music is soft to keep the tranquility you so deserve. The Café bar is in the tea cottage and serves food through out the day.
Sandwiches and snacks are also available at the bar.
The botanical gardens have Many different fruits: some that you know and others that you don’t. We have a pineapple field, a banana plantation, orange, grapefruit and mango trees to name but a few. The grounds are lined with coffee, cocoa and coconut trees.
